The 60W AC-DC adapter, designated the PSA60R series, is available in outputs of 12V, 24V and 56V over a standard DC cable. Designed for applications including gaming machines, networking devices, peripherals and portable equipment, this new power adapter is compliant for Level V efficiency marking, now a requirement for external power supplies for sale in the European Economic Area.
The double-insulated, Class B EMI power adapter has over-voltage, short-circuit and over-current protections as standard features and has a no-load power draw of less than 0.3W. Additionally the PSA60R features minimum efficiency ratings of 87-92 percent and has safety approval markings from CE, cUL/UL, C-Tick and SAA.
AC clips are available for Argentina, Australia, Brazil, China, Europe, Korea, India, the United Kingdom and the United States. A clip that has an IEC320 C8 input is also available to convert the wall plug into a desktop-style adapter able to be powered by a two-wire line cord. All AC clips are sold separately.
The PSA60R series measures 103mm x 66mm x 40mm and weighs 270g. The standard DC cable which measures 1.25m for the 12V model and 1.5m for the 24V and 56V models is terminated with a standard 5.5mm x 2.1mm straight center positive barrel. |
