The Mitex Security two way radio is a high power, professional unit suitable for all applications within the security industry such as shop watch, door staff, close protection services and surveillance. The Mitex Security is built to a high standard and provides clear and reliable communication when safety and covert operation are paramount. The radios are supplied pre-programmed and ready to use straight from the box. Channels 1-12 are programmed to dedicated Mitex Security channels while channels 13, 14 and 15 are common across all Mitex UHF handsets; channel 16 offers a scan function. Legal operation of these units requires a current Business Radio Light License available from Ofcom for £75 for 5 years; one license covers an unlimited number of handsets and we have included the license application form in the box.
